Missouri provides compensation ONLY FOR INDIVIDUALS EXONERATED THROUGH DNA EVIDENCE. An individual exonerated through DNA is eligible for $100.00 PER DAY of POST-CONVICTION CONFINEMENT.

Under Missouri law, that compensation is paid to the exoneree in YEARLY INSTALLMENTS of $36,000 until it runs out. Payments end upon the wrongfully convicted person's death.
